assignments

All graded work at a glance. Details, templates, and rubrics live on each page; submit everything on Canvas.

Two graded rails, 100 points, matching the home page table. Each arrives in small steps, and every written deliverable has a downloadable template on its rail page.

  • Site Visit & Analysis (Rail A): 50 pts, individual, four steps. Visit one real Bloomington nonprofit, set its Form 990 against a second org’s, decode it in one report.
  • Startup Plan & Pitch (Rail B): 50 pts, team of up to 5, five stages. Build the concept in studio, bank it at three checkpoints, pitch it, submit it.

Two pages under this menu are how-tos, not grades: The 990 Lab, the verification method built in Week 8’s lab, and the AI Process Log, the short log that ships with the major deliverables.

Marking. The six checkpoints are credit / no-credit, 55 of the 100 points, scored on whether the work is genuinely there. The report, the pitch, and the final plan are rubric-graded and carry the other 45.

Everything, in order

Anything you upload is due Sunday, 11:59 PM, of the week it belongs to. The pitch is the one exception: live, in the room, on your team’s day.

Sun Oct 4 B1 Concept brief Rail B 5 credit
Sun Oct 18 A3 990 comparison: your org + a second org Rail A 15 credit

Nine items; 65 of the 100 points are in before Thanksgiving. The pitch is earned in the room (miss your day and it’s 0, no make-up), and a late team upload spends a pass from every member: both sit inside the 3-3-3 rule.
